This year’s awards introduce new Reader Choice Awards, allowing fans to vote on shortlisted works

The World Network Channel Award will return to its second edition and recognize outstanding works in the global network station industry. By the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MSCT) and Korean creative content agency (KOCCA), the award will serialize web comics on domestic and international platforms between January 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025.
A new Reader Choice Award was introduced this year, allowing fans to vote on the shortlisted work. Public nominations will be open from June 16 to July 15 through the official website. In late August, about 20 finalists will reveal that the last 10 winners will be announced at the ceremony on October 22 Lotto Cinema The World Building in Seoul.

The event will coincide With the World Network Festival, the expansion is on Lotte World Tower and Ice Rink to celebrate the medium. This year’s edition will expand its pop-up footprint with 11 stores that will open on October 16, beyond the dates of the core festival. The World Network Festival will be held from October 19 to 22.
Qualified applicants (such as creators, production studios and platforms) can submit entries through official World Network Quarterly Awards Ceremony website.
