Shuten Order Game Review – Game Review

I’m far from an expert on this particular question, but I’m not sure if there are any games Close the order. Depend on Kazutaka Kodaka of Danganronpa and One Hundred Line: The Last National Defense Academy Fame, a visual novel that is first and foremost the most important novel dedicated to providing a narrative experience. However, each branch of the story operates within the framework of a different game type Ace Lawyer– A logical showdown of style.

Like many visual novels, its opening is a mystery. The protagonist of amnesia wakes up in a hotel room where she faces two angels, Mikotoru and Himeru Dubbing Her rei shimobe. They told her that she was the founder of Shut Up City and a closed-order national religion, murdered by one of her ministers, but in the last moment she prayed to God for a second chance. She will restore her life, but only if she passes through God’s judgment: she must find the one who murders and dismembers her in order to regain the stolenness of her soul. However, she only has three days.
From the beginning, Close the order It’s a visual game. The characters and environment are almost entirely hand-painted with bright, bright colors. Rei’s blue and red striped jacket is particularly bold and eye-catching. Characters are represented as cuttings of the environment, attracting their eyes. In Shuten, it is normal for people to wear masks as fashion statements, just like any accessories. Even the background characters end up looking memorable. The characters and the world all tell a story: what kind of place is what kind of place, and what kind of people live in it. Superstar’s voice further supports this, including Big and small road and aoiyūki. Mitsubishi Saiga Her multifaceted performance is worthy of shouting in her “Awkward Baby Bird” status and the established, charismatic, androgynous founder.

Player, choosing the minister you consider to be the culprit is up to you, although the angel assures Rei that through God’s power, she will surely make the right choice. Each option unlocks a different ministerial route; each route is a different game type. Attorney General Kishiru Inugami, a drug addict, was involved in a series of murder mysteries after reading an old friend’s will. Health Minister Yugen Ushitora finds himself kidnapped and forced into the escape room to die game. Science Minister Teko Ion must guide Rei through the maze underground facility. Education Minister Honoka Kokushikan drug REI and forced her to romance her in a simulated school environment. Finally, Security Minister Manji Fushicho discovered that her department was attacked by a costume serial killer Nephilim.
Each route offers about the world, closing different parts of the world, and the person who REI is the founder. The orders you attend will have a significant impact on how you experience the game. However, you have to play all five to reach the climax of the story. From a general structural point of view, this makes sense – after all, each path provides a unique perspective and provides new information. But, this is also where most of you can feel the pressure of the game range. How do you get players involved in the types they are not used to playing? And how to ensure that all players get the necessary information in an inherent nonlinear storytelling format such as dating Sims? You have to adjust them to suit your purpose!

By far the most powerful routes are Inugami’s murder mystery and Fushicho’s stealth action horror, which is a simple example of their genre and is perfect for linear stories where every player should walk away with the same knowledge (if not the same experience). It took too long for the Inugami mysteries to really start because it was the first route I’ve ever played, so until the first murder, I was frustrated with the fantasy of choice. Kodaka cites Fushicho’s Route’s invisible action gameplay, enough to make it possible for people to play visual novels as one of the game’s biggest design challenges. It’s really easy…but, I’m a guy who plays almost only visual novels and turns-based RPGs and still has to hand over the controller to my spouse and they love it.
Kokushikan’s number of dating sims presents his own challenge, as dating sims is heavily dependent on player choice. The answer here is not to really make it a dating simulation at all. You won’t choose which girl you want to pursue and when there is no mechanism for statistics. The result is a fascinating story, but I still feel the railway. There is no real challenge either, as most of the options are obvious, and I’m not sure if it will fail the story event.

Unfortunately, the last two routes I played were the worst: Ushitora’s escape room and Teko ion’s “Multi-personal text adventure”, which is not the storytelling format I encountered. The “escape room” is a bit misnamed, as most of Ushitora’s routes involve traversing featureless corridors, occasionally stopping to resolve sliding blocks, junction points, or tetris block puzzles until more plots occur. I want to cry – “Escape Room” is one of my favorite types of adventure games, and even if the secondary characters I encountered were my favorite games, it was frustrating to see it poorly implemented.
Teko ion’s narrative also suffered linear influences. Again, usually the right choice, even audio effects telegram, rarely does it take more than a minute or so to correct you if you go wrong somehow. I also didn’t find the characters particularly likable, and the scenes – making the animals bigger and stronger would make them more suitable for surviving in harsh environments – are totally ridiculous. However, it is hampered by a bigger problem: The boundary of DICO Ltd. is incomprehensible translation, which is a reading-based format of Death Zero. Translation isn’t a great shake for any part of the game, but here is particularly troubled by abused pronouns, fragments of sentences, redundant language, clumsy wording, typos – listing common Japanese questions as an issue of English localization, and there. The whole route is the most painful obstacle to the worst online novel fan translation I can imagine, and these routes are not short. I have to sit there too Kappei Yamaguchi Repeat his performance Role 4Teddie, further working hard for me. Once, I found myself murmured, if I paid for the $50 retail price Close the orderI want a refund.

But is it all worth it in the end? Overall story Close the order Yes, no reservations, great. This is the exact story of the adventure game I longed for with the branch storyline, and once you browse all the routes and gather all the information, everything blends together in a grand picture, and suddenly everything makes sense. The final scene of the game brings its own twists and turns, including a very interesting segment where the story leads you to some inductive reasoning. It was incredibly satisfying, and it did do a lot and won my kindness, which was essayed by hours of strolling through the blank corridor and stinking. I can’t elaborate on its thematic richness, as it would involve destroying several dramatic revelations when theorizing the nature of the closed order is half the pleasure, so you just need to believe I’m there.
Finally, it’s hard to determine if I can recommend it Close the order Bring my boobs. Two-thirds of them range from good to excellent…but in 60 hours of gameplay, this still means about 20 hours of mediocre to Bud’s gameplay. If the translation is better, I would be more confident to tell people that they can only pass. But the story is great, the characters are cute, and perhaps most importantly, it’s a real story about something. If you do choose to pick it up, at least you will be aware of this warning: Don’t save the routes of Yugen Ushitora and Teko ion; better yet, don’t play them continuously.
