Food for the Soul Anime Series Review – Review

for Cute This spring, addicts and fanatics of life everywhere give examples of all the reasons why we first return to this genre. if Mononuclear leukocytosis Through its thin slices, sometimes hyperbolic gags tick the comedic side of life, and then Food for the soul It’s all about the calmer, more comfortable side of the type. It’s a charming little romp, quietly but skillfully watching the fun of carefree days that are bound by fun nights. Really, what else can you ask for?

Food for the soulThe main girl, Mako Kawai, likes to cook, but her timid personality often finds her enjoying meals alone. Eating alone is a problem due to its awkwardness – Marco initially had a hard time getting into restaurants and cafes, as the idea of eating alone in a public space made her weird. However, when she was having lunch alone at school one day, she attracted the attention of an emerging food culture club that was trying to recruit another member and Mako proved to be a perfect fit for the bill.

Awkward tension enters when Mako discovers that a friend she is from elementary school (in Shinon’s name) is a member. The initial exchange between Mako and Shinon begins to be awkward before it grows into a new friendship, the two hit along with other members Kurea and Tsutsuji as they occupy a portion of the abandoned school to make delicious dishes. The first episode ends with the Food Culture Club as an excuse for its members to relax during the day. Since Maxin’and Lexigin’ is such a common subject in shows like this, I have to give anime credit with the credit I deserve: at least they are not trying to hide it.

Food for the soul As you would expect, the light on the plot is almost the same, experiencing clips of the usual lifeism (after-school club, beach plot, etc.) and with its lush atmosphere and a fancy palette surroundings, which adds another layer of comfort. but food And something like that Mononuclear leukocytosis Are there more signs here food. We get the light of character development through Mako and Shinon. Their childhood bonds were rebuilt as they went out with the club, followed by flashbacks of elementary school days, and in one episode the two met with old friends, recalling the good times of the past.

Mako and Shinon play great roles, but I prefer the relationship between Tsutsuji and another girl named Nana who are recruited to the club for a few episodes. They are perfect foil: Tsutsuji: Tsutsuji, a weird, stoic girl, while Nana is a cute and anxious mess. I love weird girls in anime, but in the light comedy realm, many of them never really developed meme characters from the past, and these characters just add something weird here and there. exist Food for the soulTsutsuji exudes more personality and confidence by supporting Nana and helping her overcome social anxiety. Anxiety is a small theme of Mako’s initial shyness and Nana’s antisociality, but Nana’s chemistry with Tsutsuji helps make this theme feel obvious through some ridiculously heart-warming sequences.

In the cooking sequence of each episode, the chemistry is completely slow when we see girls cooking and chewing in many delicious dishes. golly, these meals look absolutely tasty. Here you can smell food coming out of the screen. Girls’ oven-baked pizza is an absolute favorite, especially since I’ve been trying to perfect the pizza recipe (no stones either!). Admittedly, I could be a very, very picky eater, so there are a few meals that aren’t for my taste buds yet. However, the show’s attention to detail in these cooking sequences got so much of an attitude that I won anyway.

Excellent music adds to the atmosphere of this episode. Considered as a composer Hiromi Mizutani and director Shinya Kawatsura Work Non-Biyori It makes sense together that they will work together to produce another show whose music and direction blend perfectly. The woodwind and xylophone are weaved into the plot, and in the second episode there is a cute mix of tracks, tracks, trumpets and violin that sounds elegant. My favorite track had to be this episode when Mako and Shinon met with their old elementary school friends. As they overlook the old school from the top of the hill, fractions transform into rich symphony, and strings evoke a nostalgic, autumn tone that brings the past.

Comment Food for the soulI can’t help but remember Plus sized elvesI reviewed another food-centric show about a year ago. However ElfThe concern about French fries and negative effects on the body made me unpleasant, foodThe comfortable culinary atmosphere was a sure win for me. Should I go back to diet? perhaps. But only after my soul is addicted to anime and food, only after.
