The Mike Wieringo Comics Industry Awards (“Ringo Awards”) announced the nominees at a 2025 ceremony on Wednesday.
In the best web comics, Webtoon The entertainment company received four of seven nominations: Hoarse,,,,, Mafia Nanny,,,,, Newand Vampire family.
Other nominees in this category include TAPAS Entertainment’s A daughter with a thousand faces and Batta‘ oak. DC GO! /DC Comics‘ Renaissance crow Nominated in the category as well.
Webtoon Entertainment titles also earned two slots in Best Humor webcomics Senior Gay and Want to be friends?,and Deal with the Devil Webtoon Series Batta. Title is competing with comics kingdom Rose buds And DC GO! /DC Comics‘ Nothing butt and Harley Quinn in Paradise.
The Ringo Awards are named after the late comics artist Mike Wieringo, who recognizes the achievements of the comics industry, in categories ranging from Best Cartoonist and Best Series to Best Original Graphic Novels and Best Webcomics. The final vote was limited to professionals working in the comics field, while the awards ceremony itself was open to fans and industry members.
The winner will be announced at Baltimore Comic Con on October 18, 2025.
