Webtoon Entertainment announced Thursday that it includes the establishment of major organizations in the consumer goods sector and the reshaping of its production companies.
Tina McIntyre, former senior vice president and head of global publishing, will lead the new consumer goods division as head of consumer goods. Her expanded role will cover publishing business, e.g. WebtoonYour own branding – and the sales and licensing team. McIntyre promoted to senior vice president in 2023 after taking leadership roles at Wattpad Webtoon Studios and Wattpad.
At the same time, the company’s production company has been renamed Webtoon Made, before retirement Webtoon Studio brand. David Madden will serve as president of the renamed entity and continue to oversee global film, television and animation development. Madden’s previous leadership roles include AMC NetworkFox TV Studios and Berlanti Productions.
Additionally, Maximilian Jo will now serve as Vice President, Head of Strategy Webtoon Entertainment’s global IP business team while maintaining his position as general counsel and company secretary. In expanding roles, Joe will focus on pushing across new strategic plans Webtoon Production and a wider IP ecosystem.
