Korean streaming platform Wavve has confirmed exclusive release of its upcoming Youth Romantic Comedy series Looking for male leadscheduled to premiere on June 27. The series will air two episodes a week over a three-week period.
Adapted from the network to the same name Looking for male lead Following a college freshman, Seol-Lem Oh, she attended the university to track her missing fiancé “Fallenexcalibur”. As she spends her life on campus, she falls into a modern love triangle involving her virtual partner and potentially real life connections.
The cast includes the protagonist of Seol-Lem OH. Jin-woo Lee (a member of K-Pop Boyband Ghost9) and Jun-Ho Cha (a member of K-Pop Boyband Drippin) portray the two leading actors.
Looking for male lead Starting June 27, it will be released exclusively on WAVVE every Friday. The streaming platform in North America has not yet been decided.
The web station drawn by Janbi was serialized on Naver Webtoon between 2021 and 2022. Currently, the network channel does not provide English.
