voice actor Kaji YukiOn Monday, its agency VIMS issued a statement regarding alleged defamatory and misleading statements online. The statement noted that the agency was aware of “false and misleading information regarding Kaji Yuki ” and claimed that the information was baseless. Kaji’s false and misleading statements related to rumors of extramarital affairs and hobbies.
VIMS further said it had contacted lawyers regarding the matter and urged anyone suspected of engaging in such activity to “please delete the post in question immediately and take appropriate action.” If misinformation about Kaji persists, the agency will take legal action, saying: “If the situation does not improve and continued individual infringement is confirmed, we will be forced to require disclosure of the poster’s information and take legal action.”
VIMS has also opened a form specifically for reporting posts spreading false, misleading and defamatory information about Kaji.
