Selected Webtoon, Movie, Music Projects to share a $54,000 bonus

South Korea’s Gyeonggi province will host the South Korean AI Content Award at the Suwon Convention Center from September 26 to 27, expanding last year’s AI International Film Festival, including Webtoons and Music.
With the theme of “The Future Becomes Memory”, the event introduces a new “Pitch the Future” conference seeking long-term project proposals across three categories: film, music and Webtoons. For the Webtoon department, creators are invited to submit original long-term projects that will incorporate the generation AI into the program or production process. Entries are open to individuals, teams or companies around the world.
Finalists will be selected through competitive comments, with five online boarding proposals entering the final stage. Winners will be announced during the festival, with selected network stations, movies and music projects sharing a 75 million krw bonus (approximately $54,000).
Webtoon category applications are open to August 6 by officials website.
