This Christmas, Recreate Evangelion’s Operation Yashima With Toy Trains – Interest

And you don’t need to drain Japan’s power grid
Japanese toy manufacturer Baodomei Announced Thursday that its Plarail and Sincalion Brand collaborates with popular anime again franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion. This time, the toy line recreates Operation Yashima from the 2007 movie Neon Genesis Evangelion: 1.0 You are [Not] alone (and by extension the original 1995 TV anime).

The Plarail package includes JNR Class DD51 and Shiki Class 880 train cars – equipped with three extra high voltage transformers, and Sincalion The toy is a deformable 500-type EVA positron form. Both sets will be released on December 6th. The Plarail set is priced at 4,950 yen. Sincalion Model 500 EVA positron form 7,920 yen (approximately $33 and $52 respectively).
Baodomei posted a promotional video for the toy on its website Youtube channel. The video, which is just over two minutes long, pays homage to Operation Yashima, but is currently only available in Japan.
