Two screenings were held at Marunouchi Piccadilly on 9 November, with the cast in attendance. These screenings were shown live at other theaters across Japan. Cheer screenings that encourage audience participation will also be held in 27 theaters starting on November 14. Seven different versions of review and ending videos will be played before and after the movie. Weeks one and eight will feature the same version, while the middle six weeks will feature different versions. Attendees can receive one of four different gift packages.

The story of the animation takes place after Ella returns to her home country. The club received an invitation to the “School Idol GPX” competition. Contestants compete as individuals rather than as a school and compete through performances distributed through the app. Six members of the club – Ayumu, Kasumi, Shizuku, Kanata, Emma and Lanzhu – traveled to Okinawa to compete. While many of them experienced new encounters, Ayumu had mixed feelings about competing with other club members.
