The Lucca Comics and Games Show is one of Europe’s largest comics and games events, held annually since 1966.

horizonZheng’s early work – also due to boxer – follows a boy and girl as they navigate a war-torn world. The series, which explores themes of war, humanity and faith, was previously nominated for Best International Material – Asia Edition at the 2024 Eisner Awards.

Zheng said he was honored that the story could resonate with readers around the world “beyond the barriers of culture, language and time.”
