The series about teenage mercenaries returns to high school, distributed in 10 languages, with over 1.86 billion views worldwide
Wire The comic announced Thursday that YC and Rak Hyun (also by the Romans by Rakhyun and Rakyeon) Young mercenary ((Nyrgakio Yohii In Japanese) will get an animation adaptation (not confirmed to be an animation in Japanese).

Webtoon The series began releasing in English in June 2021 and described the story:
At the age of eight, Yu Ijin (Japanese version of SōmaTatewaki) lost his parents in a plane crash and was stranded on foreign lands and was forced to become a child mercenary in order to keep his life. Ten years later, he returned home and reunited with his family in South Korea where there was enough food and shelter and everything seemed peaceful. But Ikin will soon learn that teenage life is other feats of survival. With only one year left in high school, Ikin must master new strategies to manipulate his path around the school battlefield. Can he survive in high school for a year? Or rather, can the school survive?
The series was launched on the naver by Koreans Webtoon November 2020. The series Wire In the comics in Japan in April 2021, the cumulative number of domestic views exceeded 730 million (as of May 2025). The series is inWire Comics’ 2023 annual ranking, “It’s also the second year”Wire Comics’ 2024 Annual Ranking (Serialization). ”
