The warriors who put out the fire are called “Firebirds”. Once known as the “eating bird”, Matsunaga Gengo is the best combat samurai in Edo. There was a reason he had resigned from the fire brigade, but suddenly he received an invitation to serve in the Shinjo clan. The fire brigade of the Shinjo clan had no money or personnel, and the people around him looked down upon him.
