World Webtoon Festival Awards Ceremony to hand out 10 awards on Wednesday

The 2025 World Webtoon Festival will be held in Seoul from October 19th to 22nd to celebrate South Korea’s status as the birthplace of the global webtoon industry. The event will conclude on Wednesday with the World Web Comic Festival Awards Ceremony Lotte Cinema World Tower.
Now in its second year, the festival aims to strengthen South Korea’s global leadership in web comics while fostering pride among creators and industry professionals.
Webtoon Chronicles is a six-part special exhibition at the Lotte World Ice Rink that features animated works based on webtoons, such as Shiba Inu Maru and dragon girlAs well as a live painting session, autograph session and a “live dubbing show” by voice actor Nam Dohyung. Major companies such as NAVER WEBTOON, Netmarbleand Vacomalso participate in interactive displays.

The World Webtoon Awards will have 11 awards in multiple categories, including the Grand Prize and the Chairman of the Jury Award.
