Reincarnated in a Mafia Dating Sim Volumes 1-2 Manga Review – Review

Size Amerka It is no stranger to the powerful heroines who set out to get what they want. You might recognize her as Seventh time loopa story about a young woman named Rishe, decided to use her memories of the six before, to bring her seventh cycle of death and rebirth, or as the creator of Claudia, the reincarnated heroine The legendary witch is reborn as an oppressed princessanother young lady is ready to find her happy ending. Now Reincarnation in Mafia Dating SimulationAmekawa brings us another determined young woman in Francesca form, just like Rishe and Claudia, she is also Rebirth, but this time it was a small ot protein game that she played before her death. Apparently, Amekawa likes the story of reincarnation, like a powerful heroine.
However, since each series takes a very different approach to this genre, it is difficult to find that Amekawa has too many mistakes to focus on. The series belongs to the subgenre of the Otome game Isekai, where the heroine enters the world of games she has played before, usually before she has the chance to finish the game. Francesca threw herself in front of the bullet for Yakuza’s boss’ grandfather, but it almost doesn’t matter here because she’s completely determined not to follow the game at all. After all, what is the focus of her new life if she is just in the awkward social status of the same classmate who is afraid of her?
Francesca is also unique in a very specific way: unlike many heroines who are figuring out that this is no longer a game, but a real world occupied by people with their own free will, Francesca knows that. Although her hopes and efforts can see the plot elements of the game unfolding, she also recognizes that because they are real people, she interacts differently from previous characters. She still doesn’t want to have anything to do with them, but she thinks they are “abnormal”.
This is especially important because of how her life develops. Francesca is engaged to Leonardo Aldini, 17, the head of another mafia family. Her first goal in her new life is to break this engagement while also avoiding entanglement with other romantic interests, and at first, her plan seems to be going well: she avoids the most important meeting – victory (if you can call it abducted and kidnapped debris), rather than saving herself. But unfortunately for her, it brought her into Leonardo’s sight and fascinated him so much that he had zero interest in ending his engagement. In essence, Francesca unlocks a secret route, and although commendable, she doesn’t think so.
Francesca itself is the main attraction of the story. In the course of these two books, she proved herself to be a firm, smart person, still like she was seventeen years old. She was reluctant to ignore a troubled person, even if that could foul her plan, and it wasn’t hard to see why Leonardo was so interested in her. Although their relationship is still at the moment when you wish she could run away as quickly as possible, it is obvious that Leonardo is rethinking his life and the more plans he has, the more time he spends with her. He couldn’t fully understand how she behaved, which wasn’t particularly comfortable for him…but it was also fascinating. Francesca is also somewhat confused about Leonardo, as he does show actual concerns that (for him) have no expectations of her. Their relationship feels temporary in a good way.
While I don’t call this story, Francesca does seem to see it as that at the end of Volume Two. She points out that she essentially abandons the world by refusing to play the heroine, so she must be a villain. But I don’t think it’s that black and white, because she yes Change Leonardo even if it only increases step by step. This shows that the world is no longer a game now, and it is a refreshing approach.
Reincarnation in Mafia Dating Simulation Not as good as Seventh time loopthough I prefer it The legendary witch is reborn as an oppressed princess. This story is completely different from other Otome games reincarnation stories to make it stand out, and Francesca is a very powerful protagonist. Art has a common problem with modern school uniforms, but otherwise it’s very attractive and I’d love to know where the series comes from here. If you like other works by Amekawa, it’s worth giving this opportunity too.
