It took us five years to get a sequel to the 2020s Hanako-kun in the toiletlooking back, I can see that it is definitely worth it. Season 2 Hanako-kun in the toilet Increased the stakes in every possible way – it’s twice as long, is more emotionally influential, and somehow more stylized and beautiful than its predecessor. That is, this is a terrible place to stop! From the next step of the character to their loyalty, and for some, even their lives, many things have surfaced. With the five decades of gaps between seasons and certainly no announcement of Season 3, I’m going to end this anime soon. I will have to regard “wish” as the best conclusion we will get over a period of time.
This ending is very long, bypassing the usual opening order so as to pack as much as possible. But this show is so beautiful, it’s hard to say. In the bright sunset sky in the border world, Hanako-kun in the toiletThe average frame is as beautiful as the opening ceremony of another show. As Akane aptly said, Teru and Kou chose the worst time to solve their sibling competition in a stunning context. After seeing True kicked back during his severance, it became clear that True gave up his entire childhood to hide his younger brother from having to do so. Now, Kou wants to put down his cleaning supplies and become a powerful exorcist like his brother, it is no surprise that Teru sees it as a betrayal. Unfortunately, the two chose to fight each other before the sixth place appeared. Again, this is Teru Shield Kou, and this is a burning question I encountered: Is Teru still alive? There is no evidence of the plot ending in one way or another.
When the sixth place fights Teru, Akane, and then finally balances AOI’s life, the sixth place seems to be more interested than the things that sacrifice everything, even their own life, to protect the AOI. I think that number six, whose human-shaped Yorishiro is his precious Sumire, may just be more sympathetic. Kou felt lucky when Natsuhiko suddenly appeared to finish sixth place. But, after Natsuhiko’s ominous comment, is “luck” really the right word? Previously, I saw Natsuhiko as the least important member of the radio club, a silly 3-shaped smile comic relief character. But the truth is, he is working with Tsukasa, and I should pay more attention to that detail. What evil plan is behind Natsuhiko’s smile?
But the most crucial part of this episode does make it the finale, which is the kiss between Hanako and Nene. The show may be weird horror and stupid comedy, but the third part of Secret Seasoning is a tender portrayal of young love, and the hammer of this ending is that home. For me, the scene is no longer about kissing, but more about our leaders rarely have the chance to sit in a quiet place, actually being a direct look at how they feel (although it takes a little while because Nene can never resist the chance of fishing for love confession). It wasn’t just a kiss after they both were on the table. This is Hanako’s tears wiping Nene’s eyes. It’s Hanako Kneel down. They looked at each other in their eyes. Even though Nene realizes that her plan to wrap the puzzle and keep the boundaries with Hanako is childish, even if Tsukasa shows up at their little party breaking down (and stealing their puzzle! How could he be! He!), the emotional resonance of this moment has been bothering me.
Finally, it’s a beautiful and moving plot–no concluding finale, nor is it announced for Season 3. Where do we go from here? Fortunately, I have good news: We can all read Hanako-kun in the toilet comics Free on the Legal App for Free: Square Enix comics. No, comics! Not paying me to say anything; I was just excited when I found a new way to read legal comics for free. This ending is roughly animated in Chapter 90, so you can start reading from there, or go back to the beginning and relive the story in a new form. Hopefully we don’t have to wait another five years for another season in anime.
