Episode 11 – Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?

I’ll give Can boys and girls survive? This, I really didn’t expect it to develop in this direction in narrative. The show does such a mixed work, confusing in the romantic development of its two clues, that honestly distracts me from the surprisingly solid foreshadowing of my narrative conclusion. This is nothing new, but I didn’t expect such resolutions to come from the show in particular. But, it can be said that this has been there all the time.

The idea of passion and romance has been brewing with Himari since the beginning of several episodes, explaining part of the reason she fell in love with Yu in the first place because of his passion. The two are trying to combine the passion of opening with each other’s love, and we even have a whole episode where Yu basically admits that he is no longer making these accessories for clients, and he is making them for Himari. Now that the emotion is full circle, biting him on his butt, there is nothing he can do about it or do anything.

I don’t have a good opinion of Yu’s sister because she just allows adults to take a step in the lives of these kids, and she just quietly eats snacks in the background. But now I kind of see where she comes from. Many of us underestimate the difficulty of opening something like an accessory store and succeed. That’s the dream you tell your parents, many of them will shoot it down immediately. Yu’s family never seemed to knock it down because they realized he was working hard, but now he was in Crossroads: Did he provoke a budding and potentially romantic romance with his childhood friends, or did he go all out to pursue this creative endeavor? It’s a crossroads and I feel like a lot of people hit them in their lives and they need to make tough sacrifices in pursuit of things that are naturally untouchable.

I love all these ways for adults in the room because they also have the possibility to eat the cake and eat it, but they need to make an adult decision about it. They can have their own relationships now, but may not open a store in the future, or they can perfect their skills and then share their dreams in the future with a more solid situation. Basically, it’s a story where they need to test their relationship, which is bad, and the timing is really bad because they come to this conclusion after they reach it with a couple. I like that there are no big romantic gestures or huge confession scenes, but both just admit that “yes, they like each other” but now they can’t act. It’s really good, I’ll give the show a lot of props and it has the ball to do it. I think if it develops more, it will become stronger because when Yu is arguably your fault, it still feels like most of you are at the forefront.

Maybe if she wasn’t so eager for everything, or actually felt about her, Yu might have more time to breathe and process everything. Maybe that’s not the story they want to tell. I just think there will be a lot of room for this foundation. I totally hope there is time to skip next week and our cast members meet again after high school or college. The question is, will it make their feelings stronger this time, or is there something that may be nervous? Only time will prove this, but I suddenly had high expectations of where this show could enter.

PS Rion is thrown away here, and she can build multiple relationships with Yu and Himari, which is the most interesting point on the show.
