South Korea’s anime-focused streaming platform Laftel will release its new original animation series Dragon girl October 3.
The network station of the same name created by Orso Dragon girl Following the rebellious daughter of the King Yangman Kim, the rebellious daughter of the Dragon King escapes a marriage arranged under the sea to forge her own destiny. She registered for a mission at a human high school: becoming a top student. However, currently the number one, Hae-soo Shim, who had no intention of resigning, immediately challenged her goal.
The animated series will also be screened at the Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF) on October 25, marking Laftel’s first showcased internal work at the International Music Festival.

Webtoon originally debuted on Naver Webtoon on December 22, 2020 and has released 87 episodes so far. It had an interruption on March 18, 2025 due to creators’ health issues, and has not yet announced a return date.
Laftel has not confirmed any plans to release globally.
There is currently no official English version Dragon girl Webtoon.
