Khara Posts Part of The End of Evangelion Film’s Early Script Draft – Interest

Kara Published an excerpt from the first draft The End of Evangelion The movie will be released online on October 29. This post contains content from Karaco-founder and president of Hideaki Annonoting that the draft excerpt comes from page 18 of the second half of the film. (The date of the draft is unknown because the word-processing document no longer has the data.) Anno added that the excerpt was not a fully developed script but a draft of a plot outline: “I had an idea for the ending, but I couldn’t put it together, so it was still extreme and confusing.”
The excerpt depicts a scene Neon Genesis Evangelion Characters Shinji Ikari and Asuka Langley. The excerpt begins with a conversation between two unlisted characters, with the first line being: “It’s okay, Mom. It’s okay to go to Dad’s,” followed by “If you stay with Eva, you can live forever,” and “But, there’s no one here.”
The scene changes to Shinji building graves for all the dead, although Asuka’s grave was destroyed. Through dialogue, we see either Shinji or Asuka saying, “Live. If you die alone, I will never forgive you.” The scene ends with Shinji grabbing Asuka by the throat, who tenderly caresses Shinji with the dialogue, “I will never let you kill me.”
Kara disclose The End of Evangelion Excerpts from a draft of the film when it was re-released in Japan part “Eva Monthly”: Neon Genesis Evangelion The 30th Film Festival. 2025-2026. ” Neon Genesis Evangelion is finished In theaters from October 24th to 30th. The Reconstruction series will return to theaters from November 14 to February 19, 2026.
