Kaiju No. 8’s Game Version Puts You in the Fight – All the News and Reviews from Anime NYC 2025

I love Kaiju No. 8. The series takes many traditional kaiju metaphors and reduces them to exciting battles Shounen The series with many flattering characters means I’ve always been having fun. Based on popular games and spin-offs Franchise It seems inevitable, so I’m curious to know about the upcoming mobile games based on the series. exist Anime New York In 2025, I have the opportunity to try the game before it officially releases it, and I am eager to play more games in the future.
Kaiju No. 8 game is a turn-based action RPG where you can play various Kaijus as characters in the series. What I like about this game is that you can actually compete with Kaiju because the main actors can’t actually fight in the series, like the numbered Kaiju becomes a weapon in the main story. It’s exciting to see these kaijus rendered in 3D graphics of well-painted cell shadows that lovely recreate the characters from the original comics. You can fight these Kaijus with foursomes, you can pick from the expanded cast to fill your team before getting each one again.

As a turn RPG, you can attack with characters while ordering. Each character has a standard attack based on its main weapon, whether it is an impact attack, a fierce attack or some kind of projectile attack. Everyone has access to a professional attack with shared meter, which slowly charges, preventing it from being spammed. However, the more attacks each character will hit, the more they will fill the ultimate meter. When these ultimate meters are filled, you can actually use them immediately without waiting for these characters to appear again in the queue.

To make up for the four-to-one approach, the larger kaiju has multiple health bars that you need to lower. However, if you attack them the right way, you can expose their core, which means they do extra damage. I can’t experiment extensively for a limited time, but I think some Kaijus are weaker than specific styles compared to element weaknesses in other RPGs. The game is fast, the attack is dynamic, and I like to use particle effects to really show the glitz of many of these completed moves.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try the game mode. But even if it’s just a repetition of the original series, it’s still exciting. It seems fun to unlock multiple characters and try different combat styles or different team combinations for larger Kaiju. I want to learn more about GACHA mechanics and how everyone else looks like to complete the movement. I hope I like kaiju’s heart Kaiju No. 8 game When it was officially released.
