K-Comics World Exhibition Showcases Korean Webtoons in 5 Countries – News

The Canadian showcase will be held in September

The global exhibition focuses on July 2025 to October 2025, and the Korean and Korean network scene is traveling through Africa, Europe, North America and Asia.
Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea Korean creative content agency (KOCCA), the K-Comics World Exhibition will be held in five countries (Egypt, Hungary, Canada, China and Japan) with the aim of raising global awareness of Korean online images.
The tour begins on July 1 in Cairo, Egypt Korean Cultural Center,feature hellpopular series by Sang-Ho Yeon and Gyu-Seok Choi, which was adapted into Netflix Original live series. A special “meeting” meeting with Choi was also held for local fans. The Cairo exhibition will last until July 31.
The exhibition will next go to Budapest, Ottawa and Shanghai, and end in Osaka in October. Each location will highlight popular Korean network images in various countries, offering tailor-made selection and immersive displays. The showroom in Canada will be held in September.
