Zerihan will release its comic book adaptation of the original film on November 25

December issue Kodanshaof afternoon magazine revealed on tuesday Paris and Samus Ettore (Paris star blooms or “Paris Blossoms”), the director’s original animated film Goro Taniguchi (Rebel Ruth, One Piece movie red) and Alvo Animationwill have a comic adaptation and will be available in the magazine’s next issue on November 25. Zerihan will draw the comic.

The story tells the story of two Japanese girls who never gave up their pursuit of stardom during the difficult times of the early 20th century. Fujiko, who dreams of becoming a painter, and Chizuru, who is attracted to the world of ballet, meet by chance in Yokohama. Then, as if guided by fate, they met again in Paris and worked hard for their dreams together.

The film will be released on March 13.

The tagline in the trailer visual (pictured right) is: “I want to bloom in this city.”

Goro Taniguchi (Rebel Ruth, One Piece movie red) is directing this movie Alvo Animation. Katsuya Kondooften works as character designer on Ghibli films, e.g. Qiqi’s delivery service and recoveryworking with Taniguchi for the first time to draft original character designs. Ami Thoma (The lonely castle in the mirrorlive action Chihako -patrol-) plays Fujiko.

Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden, Maria protects us, Wanhuaxing) wrote the script, and Yamashita Yu (Rabbit drops, love me, don’t love me) adapted from Kondo’s original animated character designs. Hattori Takayuki (Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN, Mars Successor Nadesico) is making music.
