crunchyroll The second round of premiere was held this Saturday morning Anime New Yorkthe beginning is the upcoming rom-com Go, Nakamura!. Retro animation with bl Comedy and drama have caused decent hype for the show. It’s fun to see how this all comes together.
Me, on the other hand? Subjectively, I’m not sure the series was made for me, it’s my fault. I’m just a big chunk of coal, they haven’t seen all the coal yet Urusei Yatsura However, I hardly saw Lanma 1/2. This is not to say nakamura-kun Not good for those who haven’t studied it deeply, or even inaccessible Lanma or Urusei Yatsura But, although I’m sure I’ll be grateful nakamura-kun If I’m more familiar with that side of Takahashi Universe, more. Its aesthetic is attributed to the works of the iconic mango and elegantly borrows these atmospheres without cheap reflection on them as cheap imitations. In some frameworks, our protagonist is similar to Ranma, and the jokes performed may or may not evoke that weird retro humor.
The humorous moments are very obvious. A part of Nakamura attempts to interact meaningfully with his love interests while trying to hide bl His own comics. Sure, he was able to hide the comics, but his plan still backfired in another way, causing some laughs. Another has the lead to picking up the handkerchief in a way that leads to a good moment in Sakuga.
However, the part that really bothers me was the cockroaches flying up Nakamura’s shirt and accompanied by good comedy timing, bright colors and good rhythm editing. I also have to honor the show because I came up with the cutest cockroach I’ve ever seen in anything – you’re almost excited for this little infamous person. It’s even satisfying how the sequence ends. Of course, I don’t necessarily laugh on this scene, but on an objective comedy level, I can’t object. It works the way it should be.
certainly, bl It’s very, very, very. The show feeds Nakamura to the octopus-shaped Weiner by having Nakamura say he falls in love with classmates at the beginning of episode two, and then feeds his crush on him. The above bl The comics belonging to Nakamura also show some self-reflectiveness. I won’t call it Go, Nakamura-Kun! Subtle from any imagination, but it does have crafty stripes. However, there are two episodes of it, Nakamura-Kun, who is not fully fulfilled (he is just anxious beans so far), and we don’t have much to run away from him. So far, I have too many comments on chemistry, although I would be shocked if they didn’t end up hooking up in some way.
There must be some slow moments in the first two episodes. Because Nakramura-kun can’t really bring feelings to himself, there is a game of “he or not”. That’s the point of these types of stories, although in this case it feels a bit dragged down. There is also a cooking class involving a living octopus tank, starting with an interesting premise. Ironically, despite the presence of aquatic organisms, things are still too dry.
Again, there is hype around it and I can’t pretend it shouldn’t be getting. Its 80s aesthetic and camping mix bl Enough to accommodate some instructive rom-com with retro twists. But again, I haven’t completely fallen down that old-fashioned comedy anime rabbit hole, I can’t say I’m jumping up and down nakamura-kun. At least not yet.
