Wow, I was almost no excitement when watching this episode. On one hand, you can say that this episode is totally reasonable. I see the growing influence of Raphtalia on the people and political tensions are increasing. There are even some interesting character moments between Naofumi and the others. But actually, it’s an episode, arguably all about Raphtalia, but she’s got little to no screen time or any substantial audience. Why did you start to do what she is as the people’s emperor, or did she have to take the position first and absolutely powerless about it, is this all these interests of what she is going to do? We almost ended the season and I felt like the show had little inch of action.
Instead, let’s introduce another character to the actor, whose backstory is incredible and has little reason to be fascinated by Naofumi. Let’s keep her identity secret at the end of the episode, even if she’s Sadina’s sister from the moment she appears on screen. I was begging the show to overturn my expectations and get to that as soon as possible, but the show had to delay the whole thing for more than twenty minutes. There might be a conspiracy there, and I can see the show establishing similarities between Sadeena and her sister. But since the show has been taking Sadeena’s character lately, it hasn’t hit the home.
Even though she comes from the land, the show is very selective about whether she remembers anything. It’s like she has selective amnesia because sometimes she will give us about the land tradition and how it works, but then she will turn around and act like she knows nothing, or she forgets that because it’s been a long time. It would be even better if the show made her not remember some kind of traumatic reaction. I remember she felt intimate, and they made it clear that her race had to do a bunch of dirty jobs to maintain tradition. So why not focus on her duties as a guardian, while establishing parallels with her relationship with her sister, and focusing on her and Raphtalia’s attention?
No, let’s spend a lot of money on Atla, which really makes me nervous. She is a qualified kid who has been belittling her brother and he has been trying to put his greatest interest in his heart. I don’t blame her brother for spoiling her, considering what she’s going through, but you’d think she’d be more grateful or sympathetic to him. Even if you want to make the excuse that she is a frivolous teenager, it is not fun or fun. Ironically, the most to do or say this season is to help these damn White Tiger brothers and sisters.
So I left an episode, which was an interesting conversation to introduce more harem characters to procrastinate prosecution for as long as possible. There is nothing like this season that is as creepy as the worst season 2 or some of the worst places in Season 2. But my God is starting to become bored. When you delete the action, it does highlight that the story actually has nothing to say, which is a shame.
