How reassuring am I able to say I’m more or less correctly figuring out what happened in the comments last week? Although the series is closely written, it is still possible to misunderstand clues, as supernatural mysteries do not necessarily follow real-world logic. This time I strolled into the well-known cornfield and had a non-zero chance.
That said, one thing I didn’t foresee is that ikumi of Sakuta has a plan to come back (although in retrospect, all the clues are there). Basically, she laid a trap for not only her middle school classmates, but also for Sakuta. For the former, she seduces them and promises to meet them and ignores the drama. For the latter, she uses the dreamt hashtag to suggest that a stab wound will occur there. Additionally, she suggests she will be the perpetrator—where others besides her must play the hero.
In fact, the class party is an attempt by Ikumi to be with the past, doing nothing and how the class treats Sakuta. Taking her own puberty syndrome as an example, she faces the truth with her classmates, which is undeniable evidence that they have false evidence of suspicion and avoidance of Sakuta. But things have never been that simple.
Her classmates consider themselves victims. Sakuta’s collapse “destroyed” their high school life. This is the narrative they told themselves – he was crazy and dangerous. Now, being told they are wrong – he is not crazy, they all give up on those in need, and even face the evidence, they will not accept it. It doesn’t fit their beliefs, nor does it fit what they want to believe. Sakuta understands this.
He knows why puberty syndrome is still an urban legend, although it seems common: you have to experience it to believe it. Currently, seeing Ikumi pop out of the thin air, they may doubt things – but once they have a certain distance, they won’t believe it. They will convince themselves to misread or that’s a trick. They will go back to the old way of thinking because it is safe and comfortable. Or, in other words, old Sakuta classmates can’t stand what happened because their logical thinking will inevitably conclude that supernatural is not real.
So Sakuta knows all this, which forces them to do any self-attack beyond what they have done so far. He pretended it was a trick – a practical joke. It was just his easy revenge for his avoidance, and in the end it was no big deal, they might forget it. But he did this not for them or even himself, but for Ikumi to get out of the situation.
Yet despite the resolution of this situation, he is still a human being and cannot help but avenge the isolation he suffered. So his name is Mai. He believes that despite going to college, everyone is a loser and still fears high school activities. Meanwhile, he completely moved on, found love, and dated a celebrity, the most beautiful girl in Japan in the whole of the world. Very bad!
So far, he apologized for Mai. His love for her was something real and pure, not a bat that beats the people who imprison him. However, Mai turned around and asked if what he said was incorrect. Because for her, if their relationship was brought to him in such a way or in peace, she would be very willing to swing the well-known bat herself.

•So…who or what is the young marina? Because she seems to be more than just one aspect of Sakuta’s pubertal syndrome. Is she actually Touko Kirishima? Or another person like her?
•It is important to note that the “perfect world” is not objectively perfect. For Sakuta, it was “perfect” – it contained his best life and his own version. However, people other than Sakuta can still have a terrible, unfulfilled life, and therefore, the life of Ikumi.
• It’s great that we have to understand how Sakuta’s perfect world helped his sister and resolve her case so quickly.
•The Perfect World Sakuta is a mysterious character. Even a day in a normal world, he seemed to figure out the mystery of the entire Touko Kirishima. Too bad, he didn’t share some mysterious remarks.
