I know I don’t always watch anime (or anything) to see real life work on the screen, but the way about everyone in it is still refreshing Fragrant flowers bloom with dignity That’s it Human. They have a real feeling and act and react according to them in a recognizable way. Usami is more than just a short seller, Saku is not a cool person with no visible emotions, Subaru is worried about her behavior even if she believes them. The work of this episode shows that as the characters jump, it doesn’t get out of touch. Instead, it can emphasize their humanity.
There is no doubt that the big event was Saku being shocked by Kaoruko’s notes in Rintaro’s notebook. He was really glad his friend passed the test, but seeing that little pink post really disappointed him. At first, it is easy to assume that his feeling is jealous: He is It should be one of their smart friends groups, everyone is asking them for help, so what has Rintaro done to some Kikyo Girl? While this may still be part of it (I think this may be), the real problem is that Rintaro refuses to talk to Saku. If he just said something happened, Saku would understand, or at least work hard. However, since Rintaro told Saku that he didn’t want to talk about Kaoruko, he hit the other boy’s understanding of their friendship. In Saku’s mind, friends tell each other. Rintaro’s rejection felt like a total rejection of their friendship.
Rintaro himself doesn’t fully understand why he doesn’t want to talk about Kaoruko with buds to help solve the interaction. It is important to remember that this is his first true group of friends ever. Before spending Chidori, most of his school life felt unaffordable because of what people assumed him. Therefore, he does not have social skills like Saku’s concept of “good friends” or “real friends”. Rintaro was deeply trapped in the pain of many emotions he had never felt before, which disappointed him, and his reaction was to retreat into his shell, which was safe. The fact that his tendency is always squatting and making himself as small as possible is said is very big: no one else, even the one you like, will notice it.
This helps promote parallelism between Rintaro and Subaru. Although the situation at Subaru is at least different from what we know so far, she also acts in ways that reinforce a particular image. But where Lintaro curled inward, Subaru whipped outward. Her “rest” role is a retired character full of uncertainty. It’s obvious when she meets Kaoruko on the playground at the end of the episode – she’s nervous about what she says, because she feels introverted by what she does… Like Rintaro, I’ve been stuck with Saku and Subaru for most of the time most of his time, such as putting the world’s worst songs into my head. Subaru is ready to face this. We have to wait and see if Rintaro can make himself do the same.
With all this heavy weight in the main plot, Usami is a godsend. His Golden Retriever’s personality and how every thought on his face are worn help to relieve the mood, even if his puppy antics are fixing things between his friends. He is also a recognized human character, a friend of the peacemaker, who tries his best to help everyone get along well in their own way. If someone was going to try to bring people together, I think it would be him.
