Episode 4 – Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2

finally! There are four episodes into this isekai anime and we have finally reached the dungeon episode. For an anime that doesn’t have a lot of action or even a bit of drama, there’s a lot to be excited about thanks to the slow-brewing build-up. indeed, campfire cooking Might have just kicked the can down the road a little, but it was worth the wait. This dungeon crawler has every level covered and is just as fun as you imagine.
You know you’re in for a warm welcome when even the dungeon entrance itself looks great. No kidding, it’s very elegant, with a perfect staircase that goes down, brick edges, and gargoyle statues at all four corners. The exterior is very well done and whoever does the physical work deserves a raise. The interior of the dungeon ditches all the sickly, dark greens and blues that I’ve seen in many bad isekai dungeons, replacing it with some warm reds and yellows, creating a very calming environment. There is something Zelda-esque The way this dungeon is designed, I know that’s a general statement, but hey, it’s not every day that I see a dungeon in anime look so inviting and mysterious. Plus, like some of Zelda’s most memorable dungeons, it takes up its own space in the center of the town where Muhokda, Fel, Sui, and Dora-chan are located. Does anyone remember Rogue Town from The Legend of Zelda? Link to the pastOutcast Village from , or Skull Dungeon from Oracles through the agesThe symmetrical village? Well, I do, and I love it.
Granted, you already knew what you were going to do before the OP started. Monsters were killed, food was nominated, gods and goddesses intervened for a moment, and Sui’s cuteness swept over her, like countless and one Cute point. Phil continues to do the heavy lifting here, and it’s hilarious how easily he one-shots the creepy crawlies in the dungeon. He passed through the first wave of enemies with ease, leaving even other adventurers in the dungeon stunned by his power. Of course, the dungeon is full of traps, one of which is the boulder that rolls out of the dungeon. Lost Ark Guide. Everyone and their great-grandmother has seen this iconic monolithic scene many times. I’d be the one to complain about the monolith being included campfire cooking If only this sequence weren’t so quick and suited the show’s light-hearted comedy. In other words, it’s worth referencing.
nothing about campfire cooking It’s hard to predict so far, although there are some attempts to subvert expectations. Up until now, Little Dora has been nothing more than a saucy comedian who achieved glory when he knocked down a wave of spiders in one fell swoop. As expected, the gods and goddesses of the Blessing Party appear later in the episode, although their cameo may be one of the briefest yet. Muhkoda cooks for the other dungeon adventurers as well as his gang, which is a nice change of pace for two reasons: 1) it allows the animation to get different reactions from others rather than the usual suspects, and 2) having more adventurers in the dungeon outside of the main cast makes the environment feel more alive. Seriously, I’m surprised at how empty dungeons are in anime, especially since the whole point of their existence is to gather as many adventurers as possible so they can generate experience and treasure. Have I mentioned how much I love this dungeon? Because I really, really do.
As a final break from the usual, the episode ends with Mukoda and the gang exploring the outer parts of the dungeon hidden away. It’s a forest environment that looks lusher than some of the other forests and plains the gang has traveled through. Maybe we’re not quite out of the woods yet (literally!) in this dungeon crawl, and I’m here for it. Make no mistake: this is the best episode of the season so far.
