Season sandwiched between a beautiful show and da and Season 2, hikaru died in summerand Hanako-kun in the toilet Season 2, Part 2, I get it. If you just watched it on the heel of any show, almost anything will get less. However, even so. Wow. Visually, we are not entirely near Rock Botton, but this week’s plot is sure to have many moments, and it’s hard not to notice eye misalignment and poor texture. Previously, the visuals were impressive. Now, I’m worried if, despite this, we’ve seen the visuals on their peaks and only downhill from here. Hopefully I was wrong – still had enough time to make mistakes – but at least encountered more anime, whose visuals only got worse with time and not better, so I wasn’t completely optimistic.
It was a particularly unfortunate week for this show, showing visual boredom. Until the last few minutes, it was a large part of the plot. Whether from the design itself or in the battle scenes we see between the giants and the Knights, some much-needed visual flares may be something that this episode needs to be more substantial.
Still, let’s talk about everything we’ve got from this week’s episode. After divine revelation, it appears on the surface that the knights of a neutral country (I am not sure if I am neutral, but anyway) come to check the forest. Artu said hello to them, pretending to be a dark elf, he was just chilling at the other dark elfs and there was nothing suspicious about it, so everyone could go home. That might be what Artu said – Dear Lord, is she even trying an excuse? She basically said, “We are definitely not building an evil empire, so you can go home. There is nothing to see here.” Of course, Atou had to put the leader of the knight under some type of spell, right? He deceived him incredibly. …r-right? I’m sure we’ll find out next week. But at the same time, the anime desperately needs some conflict or political conspiracy, so I’m glad we’re finally gone.
However, here’s what I want to know: When Ato and Tagoto talk about potential heroes they can summon, they mention that the bug’s queen Isla is the only practical option, mainly because she can cover up other insects (and Takito has been using a lot of them), but that’s because she’s the least likely person to contradict the target. They know this because both he and Atou know that they are in the world of video games, and they both have memories of playing games.
Its framed way, especially Takuto dumped a ton of time in his previous life. So far, we have no reason to believe that anything is deviating from the game because they both remember it. In theory, they or at least Takuto should know all the things that could happen. And, the sudden appearance of the Knight due to the divine revelation is a very noteworthy event – but whether this is something that happens in the game or not. You might think Takuto would know about this event and extend it to how he achieves the desired result. However, there is no such conversation. There wasn’t even the idea of “Oh, I remember this event” or “an event I’m not familiar with this event.” Maybe it will be resolved later – I hope to do so. But on the surface, it looks like writing that was not expected.
All of this says I have no impression of the plot this week. I hate the disappointment of this series so far, because its premise actually looks cool. It still has enough time to turn around, but in episode 4, the clip from this series still doesn’t shock me, and besides the above premise, we arrive one person starts to wonder if the show just starts slowly, or is the whole thing going to be like this? Still, there are others who know about Mynoghra’s existence now, which could bring us a conflict next week. It took a moment, but the gears finally started to turn, so hopefully this will give us the material we need for a better episode next week.
