Where is Akane? Of course, AOI is saved in time. When it’s time to go to AOI rescue, Akane is cursed to look like a cool guy and at other times like a huge fool. Teru is probably the coolest person in the school, but he has no hope of fighting for AKane for AOI. When Aoi and Hanako had a moment on the train before everything went bankrupt, I don’t think Hanako wanted AOI to bring romance. I thank the AOI this season for transforming her from plot installations and mouthpieces to creepy school rumor into a complex girl who hides her feelings and anger and fears that her friends will find neither of them can show up. She also has more in common with Hanako. I suspect that the moment when all of these characters’ stories parallel to each other will arrive next week.
