Anne knew somewhere in her heart. She knew, as perfect as Royal Gardner looked-even his name sounded like a character in her beloved sensual novel-he wasn’t actually her prince. You can see it with a thousand small ideas and gestures, from her face made in the mirror while wearing an orchid to a quiet realization that she accepts his de facto advice (actually more like an intention to propose), which is not any mark she has to do with love. She reacted more to Charlie and Gilbert Actual Propose Beroy’s dear words. He’s perfect on paper, but he doesn’t necessarily fit she.

Phil didn’t love him because he was waving and radiating cheesy poems. She loved him because of his ordinary kindness. Part of her also knows that Roy is totally lacking. She was the first to express that Orchid was not suitable for Anne, even if she didn’t fully understand what she really said, Roy Not suitable for Anne, she began to realize. More importantly, it is wrong for her to admit that she was angry about Anne’s rejection of Gilbert. Even if she doesn’t realize that something is going wrong is imposing something on her friend to make her own decisions, it’s a good first step. Roy is a mistake Anne must make alone.
Is Christine the same thing for Gilbert?
