Episode 20 Kaiju No. 8 By returning the focus to Kafka, it managed to achieve great success.
I’m very happy to report Kaiju No. 8 Remember who its main character is. Now, the entire run time is dedicated to Kafka, but we actually come back to him to see how events from the past few weeks have affected his happiness. This is undoubtedly a positive development.
The first part of the event this week returns Ichikawa and Furuhashi to fight Mole Kaiju. The development last week was a good reward. The biggest wow factor is that the Furuhashi explosion opens up the outer layer of the mole, so Ichikawa can pass the frozen super pike through the core of the creature. The battle looks cool and has an impact, while also fitting everything that has been built since last week. Mole Monster is passive throughout the fight, more obstacles than a real opponent, but I think even if it doesn’t stand out in the crowd.
I’m not selling on the details of the battle. Furuhashi’s development is equal to the standard power level. Oh, he has x There is a recorded power supply, but he can actually y Strength, but he needs training and so on. We’ve all seen it before and we’ll see it again. Ichikawa doesn’t have much functionality, as the giant sniper rifle beam has the same shooting capabilities as any other giant sniper (more common in anime than you think). The fact that it ends up with a bunch of ice spikes doesn’t seem to matter.
Kafka’s focus is on the real star of the show. I’ve been waiting for the series to come back to him and explore how he feels about recent developments. I’m glad he has no disease with Ichikawa, but instead, it became his motivation to improve himself. Hoshina Training Kafka is a solid start to the new character development arc (or at least I hope so). We haven’t seen Kafka do a lot of practical training and advancement, as most of his abilities are based on sudden discovery and exploiting his huge strengths. This will provide him with a new opportunity for development and change, and I look forward to what he is on the way.
