After a period of pause, Cinderella Gray Back! It worked really well because the show so far has been about raising expectations for the Japan Cup. Another delay would only increase the tension further. It also gives the narrative a bit of a soft reset, with the episode beginning with a perfect return to Shun Oguri, focusing on her quest for victory and overcoming Tamamo Cross’ second shot. Following the previous group introductions, it was a good reminder of who the stars of the show are, though the episode itself continued to make the most of the expanded cast of characters.
The length of the Japan Cup, often touted as 2,400 meters, does make it Cinderella Gray Pick up the pace and make this game feel like an event. By the end of the episode, the run isn’t over yet, with multiple possible upsets looming, supported by various mini-conflicts taking place on the track. I know I’ve said it before, but this part Cinderella Gray indeed Uma Niang It’s really great in a full sports action Shonen Championship arc mode. The accumulation of all these new faces and previous introductions continues the effect, with the current focus extending well beyond Shun Oguri. But all of the additional elements prove their place within the swelling narrative and the higher, more complex stakes on display.
Take for example all the new overseas horse racing. Yes, I’m still happy whenever Michelle My Baby is on screen, but her first major action in the game is to start bullying poor Shun Oguri on the track. Sure, it feels like a pretty American move (apart from the obnoxious “Obey Your Master” spoof), but the way Mousaka confirmed it was a legitimate strategy speaks to the wider world of racing methods that Japanese natives like Oguri and Tamamo might not be ready for. And, it’s not without reason, but Tama also tolerated this behavior from British horse girl Moonlight Lunacy, so maybe it’s just a common Western thing and not those annoying American attitudes.
Regardless, Rough Play is meant to ramp up the intensity and show that mature characters can be stretched out of their depth at this new peak. The game’s big twist for Oguri herself is that she switches her strategy to a speed chase specifically to better catch up with Tamamo, but this plan doesn’t survive contact with the game itself as they both find themselves under attack. The deeper irony is that, as Super Creek observed, Oguri’s typical mid-pack strategy might actually be the better strategy for this match. Like they say: never change horses halfway, uh, wait a minute, I might need to think of a less literal idiom.
The melee between the Japanese leaders and the new international interlopers fueled those little interactions and conflicts throughout the game that made this game feel so juvenile tournament-coded. A better, broader approach allows Cinderella Gray Bringing back more of the humor that sometimes gets lost from this series. I’m not going to complain about most of Michelle My Baby, such as the hilarious taunts she attempts to pull on Shun Oguri during the competition, only for the latter to point out that she doesn’t speak English. The face game is in full swing this episode. After the first few episodes of the season felt like they were a bit hesitant in the stylization department, coming back this week really feels like CygamesPictures is using all the colorful new characters in the competition as reasons to quit the show.
This is evident in the no-nonsense directing style, such as the powerful first-person shot of Shun Oguri as he begins to tire. This is evident in more esoteric expressions, like glass shattering deep within Tamamo’s psyche as she feels so threatened, so American Submit yourself to the presence of your Master. While I’m still wondering how Oguri Shun is doing and how she can turn things around, this is a last-minute switch – and the expanded character competition means this is still an absolutely tight game. So yes, Cinderella Gray It would definitely win over a larger cast and wider attention while still keeping the audience invested in Shun Oguri, even if she’s biding her time behind the scenes in places. After all, I’m still rooting for her to win before then.
Look, I just want to watch the Dodgers steal the World Series from the Toronto Blue Jays this weekend, I don’t need to see Team USA win again.
