It seems we didn’t get any comedy sketches this week, but that’s the best because they might feel a little disconnected here. Sacmato Day Never completely get rid of some of the top violence that its action movie inspiration brings, but many of them also balance with a level of cartoon chaos, which helps to make the show’s tone more silly. This isn’t the case for most episodes of the week, as it’s an uninterrupted gore action that, while not enough to completely change the tone of the show, it does feel shocked to prove the real danger of Slur and his killer band.
After arriving at JAA headquarters, Slur and Gaku don’t need to waste time and will waste anyone they meet. Despite their best efforts, there isn’t a single assassin here for any real match for the two, with most of them showing up to get their heads cut off (to be honest, I think this episode has probably set a record for the worst head I’ve seen in a single anime movie in recent memory). It may all sound creepy, but these Ultraviolence displays are delivered through some casual action movie conversations, such as Slur’s mention of how inconvenient it is to have a bathroom on only half of the floors in a building, or a person realizing that he shouldn’t be able to get these people in trouble today after seeing all the men’s communications, and can get these people in trouble. Despite this, both Slur and Gaku’s powers hit a wall in the form of an order member named Takamura, but his danger is even more dangerous than either of them. We see a part of him throughout the season, such as mumbling, or casually cutting into Tokyo towers to prevent falling off after Sakamoto’s battle there, and nothing here is as crazy as the last feat, but it’s cool to see him in a relatively comfortable way with both feats.
Sakamoto finally arrives on the scene when Gaku tries to defend against Takamura, and after facing Slur, we learn that the two of them do know each other. Slur is an old classmate from Sakamoto’s from Assassin School, and while we still don’t have a complete grasp of his motivations, he seems to have an axe with JAA grinding and hopes to replace their current social order with his own. We also didn’t get his previous relationship with Sakamoto, but obviously it’s already awful that Sakamoto tried to kill him. For now, all we see is hatred between the two, and when Slur threatens Sakamoto to get in the way of his goal, we see the big man doing it on his habitual Terminator Rushing. Considering how unstoppable Sakamoto is when someone is under his skin, Slur can keep up with him says a lot. While we don’t have any large animation presentations here to achieve this, it’s at least interesting to see the speed of these two throws hitting each other quickly.
Sadly, the battle won’t last long, as Gaku can’t keep Takamura out and Slur is forced to retreat with him. Still, the two managed to cut the JAA numbers a lot while leaving Saka Motorcycle in the hospital. Given how much the show just threw at us, it would be nice if the slowdown slowed down a bit, but it seems ready to set the next arc. This time, it seems that Sakamoto wants to explore Slur’s history more in JAA and try to get that information from Nagumo with one other order member Hyo. Although Sakamoto claims he is unwilling to put his family on others, he at least mentions that he is willing to trust Shin to support his support, and although he is unwilling to leave his job, he is unwilling to leave his job. After Shin struggled to fall, this made a wonderful moment between them because there was no more help to prevent Slur. Seeing Sakamoto show his determination by slamming Hyo onto the MRA table, his determination was also interesting when he told him to stay away from this, seeing Hyo walk out of the hospital room with half of his body still tied to the table, it’s a great taste cleanser, it’s a great taste cleanser, how much violence has happened to us. Sakamoto eventually did learn where he could get the information he needed, and doing so would require him to enter the database of his old assassin school. It should make time interesting, depending on whether the show can continue to keep the action scene consistent, as the next arc will only get more intense in the department, but given that these serial killers’ fights are stable, I think it will manage to achieve some solid drama.
