Episode 13 – To Be Hero X

How will you rate it Episode 13 of
Become a hero x ? Community score: 4.0

We know from the first arc that the mixture of faith and perception affects people in the world Become a hero x– Not only their strength, but also their appearance. After all, when Lin Er becomes friendly, his muscle mass and coordination changes with the color of his eyes and hair, and when he refuses to have a pretty identity, his muscles and coordination recover. Now, with the help of the Loli’s arc, we are once again entering this aspect of the trust system.

Loli is so cute, her own good. She wants to be a hero, but everyone sees her as a romantic choice. Even though she gave her all the trust and admiration of her fellow citizens attending the gym, they saw her face and long hair, which evaporated with her (trust created) muscles.

Of course, since her appearance is at least partially under her control, there are things that can be done to make herself stereotyped less adorable. She can cut her hair into elf cuts or stop wearing pink. But the thing about Loli is that she doesn’t want to compromise on becoming a hero, she likes things traditionally women. She wants to be herself and a superhero, help people, not another one.

Fortunately, she finally stumbled upon the best of both worlds (I was surprised that it didn’t cross her mind earlier considering the new E-Soul at this time). If she wears a mask while executing a superhero, no one can know if she is cute. So Loli builds a robot supersuit and goes out to fight crime, at least holding her own mask.

While much of it is about facing gender discrimination, it reveals that people tend to judge a book by their cover when it comes to women rather than looking at the complex people below – this episode also raises an interesting question.

Loli’s trust score is very low – in the largest low double digits. But in her prototype lawsuit, she can work with people with superhuman power (whether based on fear or trust). Therefore, this raises the question, how will high trust value affect loli? Is she a woman in the clothes going stronger or smarter? Or will the trust affect her suit, making the machinery stronger or more complex? We never directly see an inanimate object with a trust effect, so the Loli’s arc should give us a peek into the fit of tech heroes in the superhero community. We have to see what’s going on next week as she transforms into a village with her first superhero.

Random thought:

•Loli’s father can be both an absent father and a person who believes to be sexist. People are not just good or bad, they are all a mixture of the two.

•It says something about Loli’s mom, we see her on her phone or mat on her screen time.

•I doubt Nuonuo will not surpass next week’s episode.

•How does the creepy stalker boy get superpowers? Is he a champion of the online stalker community? Or is he just avoiding the fear of people being stalked?
