Episode 1141 piece Hanging roughly the same moment as last time, but adding a number of major callbacks to the mix.
This episode really emphasizes the time of a series piece yes. I know most of us are stubborn people who have long been part of the charm. But guys…it’s a very long series! The arrival of Dorry and Brogy proves this.
Because wow, it has been literally decades since we saw the Elbaf giant trampling. Luffy and Co meet these guys like four anime art styles. It was nice to see them back in action, stepping on the nearshore waters and tearing down naval ships. The concept of a pirate crew made entirely from Viking giants is very cool on the face. Here we can see the joy of the idea, destructive stupidity, without scratches when the giants of Dorry and Brogy tear apart the Navy and Marines. What is spread in the process is the flashback sequences that remind us of those early meetings, and while I may usually be trying to sneak up on such a long cut, which is equivalent to something we’ve seen before, I think it’s helpful because these plots are even airing before a lot of viewers.
The second half of the plot is mainly Sanji and Luffy Show. Luffy knocked Saturn a little bit, giving Bonnie some encouragement, and was always happy to see. So to say, but a lot of them are just handovers, so Bonnie and Frankie can leave the scene, while Luffy and Sange are ready for the next fight. We can indeed briefly preview Sanji’s performance, who kicked Borsalino’s laser beam out of the air shooting – an incredible feat – but it’s even more previewed than the real Tangle. It will be interesting to see how this battle is shaped in the next few weeks.
There are also some other incidents that happened. Zoro and Rob Lucci are still fighting. I won’t blame you for forgetting (I did forget). Lucci mentioned that Mugiwaras will not leave, as long as one of their crew members is still alive, it is a very poignant observation. I love it when villains can use the kindness of heroes as weapons. Also, the Catarina scene is important because not only do we see Caribou still be a sly weirdo, but we can see more of Catarina Devon, which is always a triumph in my book.
