It took a while, but our main girl finally returned to her modern home, which seemed completely unaffected by time. But they soon learned from the museum exhibition that it might be because their beloved Sengoku team was massacred shortly after they left.
Let this episode prove the value of learning and preserving local history. Large museums and archives are very cool – my favorite places around the world are large museums – but small museums and libraries are equally valuable even for people who are dedicated to protecting local history. Imagine how different the episode might have been if the girls weren’t easily accessible to this information, if they didn’t have a local history museum, and if they had to do historical research in an old-fashioned way. Actually, you don’t have to do that, because I’m going to explain what could happen, so you can appreciate how lucky they have a local history museum that can easily find this information. You are with me, not the other way around:
If the Sengoku lineup is written in any book, the next best scene for the girl would be. But just because this information is in the book, it is not inherent. In fact, my anecdotal experience is that it’s a kind of nonsense when it comes to history (especially historic history). Many history books are older, with a few exceptions, especially academic focus on books that are not completely republished (if they are completely republished). Therefore, at best, many of them are often old or rare. In the worst case, they are both expensive. Back when I was writing papers in medieval history, Internet archives were very important – they had a lot of books related to my field of study, but were also older and harder to obtain, so they would have been difficult (if not impossible) to access. Fortunately, my university’s library was able to fill the gap. Reiterate: The library is great.
That said, at best, maybe this information could have been in the book. Girls can get it! But if it is not, or if the book is inaccessible to them (e.g., it’s too old, hard to find complete, too expensive, etc.), I doubt they will pursue this further. In fact, this information may not be archived and stopped completely. This is almost not the first time. Admittedly, I’m not sure how Japanese historical archive access works. But if it works like England or the United States, then as a high school student (that’s: not a history graduate, or in a history school), girls may face a lot of traditional Chinese tape festivals. Additionally, if they interact directly with the source, they face possible language barriers that may have changed in the form of Japanese as a language over the past few hundred years. Something that, admittedly, they should’ve had to learn whilst they were in the Sengoku era, but I’m not going to derail this review into me going on a tangent about how desperately I wish there was more historical fiction that embedded what’s otherwise generally (and, to be clear, very understandably) regarding as something too inconvenient and requiring way too much research to both integrating: the evolution of language. But before I start talking about intermediate English, especially the secretary of the medieval ages and the minimum of the medieval ages, I’ll cut myself out there.
There must be a branch path that anime goes here, and the girls decide to do as much research as possible on their friends’ lives during the Sengoku era and discover a passion for learning history. Admittedly, I would love to see this. Nevertheless, the girls decided to devote their training so that they could save them – and it was also an interesting prospect. Obviously, unexpected, but I think this anime knows this because of how it tries to fake us with the whole of nanoenzymes: “a, yes, let’s break this schedule!” a small amount. I think I’m used to dying with difficulty. We’ve finished the episode with a very exciting note and although I’ll end it soon, I’m curious about what’s going to happen next.
