I’m glad the show finally got into the link between Knuckles and Bee Girl. It means he is looking for her, or at least, what he knows about her in the last episode. This episode gives us a lot of joint source content that I’m waiting for, especially considering that he has a lot of background in the past few episodes. It seems that he is specifically tracking the bee girl because of what happened to his wife, who seems to be sick and limited to the hospital without a chance to recover. I’m not sure if this is related to the center of the storyline or the bees, especially since we have a story of revenge on our hands, which will help Noclydester’s atheist character.
If he does not visit his wife, he is busy with training or investigation. I like the way he tried to suggest he was using Pop and Koichi as the end point, but we know he had a mood for them. We may not have seen him as much as he is trying to keep them involved in all these antics as he investigates further and further. I’m sure the concert with pop and the potential climax of this episode with the Bee Girl will come together in the season finale.
It’s great to fit in some real setup. I even like the fact that Macato doesn’t seem to care that our three are waryers because she has figured out their secret identities. She sees what they are doing and wants to coordinate everyone to make things as good as possible. She firmly established her main cast member.
As for the Bee Girl herself, we can indeed understand her identity. It seems she can control people by inserting her own bees into it, which is very horrible when you think about the meaning. We know she is going to go to the alias, but straightforwardly she permeates someone’s life, keeps adults powerless and bases on their operations. We saw a slightly different photo without patches, and we knew she stored the bees in the fake left eye behind. She is either controlled by the bee itself or someone else controls her, just like the way we see high school students being controlled at the beginning of the episode. This may be the first time the plot really attracted me. I look forward to seeing where all this is going.
