Episode 10 – Call of the Night Season 2

This is the biggest showdown: Nazuna and Anko. Two ladies with large jackets entered. A woman left. Like all good anime battles, the real conflict is internal and emotional. Nazuna clashes between her desire to protect the KO and her desire to not hurt her first friend. Anko compares her self-destructive drive to her innate survival instincts, while also venting her inner frustrations to her ex-partner. Both women are very concerned about their respective motives, which makes their conflict an explosive motive.
Technically, I like the way anime shows the battle. Campus setting thought Kizumonogatarirhythm emphasizes their different styles. Nazuna performs all typical vampire actions: flying, speeding, throwing large objects, ECT. Meanwhile, Anko fights dirty, both because she wants to inspire Nazuna’s anger, and because it’s logically the only way she can resist supernatural forces. Yes Call of nightThanks to how far the asymmetry of this game needs to be, without pausing our suspicion. Seeing Anko running around like Looney’s character, it also injects some attitude into the confrontation. Of course, maybe Kotoyama can make rules at any time, but I think it would be more interesting if Anko could hurt Nazuna with a gun. In any case, we have determined that the vampires don’t actually know much about themselves, and Nazuna is one of the most outstanding rookies.
That red eye is also Nazuna’s powerful appearance. It reflects her split mental state, it reflects the way Anko’s eyes are often constructed, a normal lens and a lens are obscured by light. Duality is the key theme of the whole process Call of nightand Anko’s arc is no exception. For example, if we overlap with two known partners of Nazuna, the threat of Anko killing the KO will become an expression of her suicide idea. From a simpler point of view, she hurt Nazuna as a means of harming herself. She felt responsible when she threw her family outside on the vampire – not just to kill her father, but to reject Nazuna. Seeing Nazuna ride with KO may remind her that if Nazuna was willing to accept it at the time, it would help her. But, ten years later, Anko is too deeply involved in her revenge plot to change her mind.
I thank Anko for admitting that her master plan was not a good one. It’s full of gaps and logical leaps, and after seeing the pandemic response in 2020, I doubt people will be away from the streets for a week. Her dream of a quiet, pleasant night will never come-at least on a social level. Call of nightHowever, the first season provides weekly evidence of a variety of great times in Witch Time. KO spent a lot of quiet and loud nights with Nazuna. No one stopped Anko from doing the same thing except herself. Of course, this is the main problem here.
Meanwhile, KO has gained the protagonist of the series by proving himself once again as a clever cookie. Even before Anko sent him the message, he more or less deduced that she wasn’t trying to win. He also saw the vampire bravely covering up Nico and the other’s motivation. This makes sense; they all think they have an image that can be maintained as a biological one at night. But in reality, they are all big soft people who would rather drink at night. KO doesn’t want to hang out with them, let alone be one of them if they aren’t good people. Anko is also only human, and it is by understanding her humanity that Ko can track her and thwart her plans.
Anko ends their fight with a craving romantic plot, admitting that if someone kills her, she hopes it is Nazuna. But when she left the gym, she said bitterly that Nazuna never gave her what she wanted. These two lines cleverly summarize Anko’s psychology. She feels regretful and stands out in herself and others. I think Nazuna will definitely give her anything when they meet, but I also think Anko doesn’t know what she wants in the first place. She is a confused queer adolescence, and her family tragedy hinders her growth before she can get to know herself. After ten years of pain, she was ready to end it all.
This takes us to our cliffs, which is exactly where I think the episode will end. I’m particularly happy that it won’t be a few seconds earlier, because I think it would be too sensational to make fun of the audience in this way. Accidentally launching a round at KO forces Anko to face the consequences of her emotional myopia, which is the real purpose of this scene. With most of its threads summarizing, this Halloween arc is shorter than I remember, but due to how much internal and interpersonal drama it contains, my memory seems to be longer, especially with Call of nightPrevious arc. and Miyuki Sawashiro While giving Anko his sorrow, he knocked him down the park again. It was a suitable climax for my favorite disaster detective and I can’t wait to see the pain she suffered next week.
grade:
Hidive They also posted their English Dubbing In the first episode of season 2 of this week, I will give me some notes. The good news is, as far as I know, all of the first season Dubbing The actor is back. They did a great job at the time and now they do a great job. Pay special attention, Gabriel Regojo and Natalie Rial As KO and Nazuna have entertainment and intuitive performances, adapting to their stupid side together with their more serious conversations. Unfortunately, the season 2 premiere is not Anko, so we know how Jessica Calvello Will turn to the detective’s turn at the heart of the story. follow up Miyuki SawashiroIf you ask me, the work here puts her in an enviable position, but I long to hear another voice performing the veteran’s opinion on this juicy material.
