Webtoon Entertainment and Sonicdream, founded by DJ and producer Slushii The dream of wisdomthe original Shonen Action Webtoon will make its debut specifically WebtoonThe English platform on July 6. The series marks the first collaboration between Slushii (Julian Scanlan) and the anime producer Rob Pereydaproduction of Merryweather Media.
The dream of wisdom Combine music and comics into a science fiction adult adventure. The series will feature immersive music overlays associated with Slushii’s upcoming album pupa.
The story tells the story of Kuro, a high school student who is troubled by strange dreams, finds himself protecting an alien sludge creature and awakening mysterious powers. As Kuro tangles in battle across galaxies, he must uncover the connection between his dream and the fate of the universe.
“Sapient Dream is the universe I’ve been in ‘dream’ for years,” Slushii said. “It’s anime, it’s music – it’s everything that makes me myself.”
Slushii’s viral song “Past Lives” has over 16 billion streams Youtube and Tiktok.
