Summer Moon: The Quiprids is a coming-of-age school fantasy series that tells the story of five ordinary high school girls – Yeoreum, Miso, Ah-ying, Gayoon and Unha – who accidentally transform into “magical girls” before the school’s biggest summer festival. The story begins as a light-hearted teen romance and develops as the girls face emotional challenges and magical threats, ultimately learning that “real magic lies in embracing your authentic selves.”
The webtoon premiered in South Korea on August 4 and quickly rose to No. 2 in the Naver Women’s category and No. 3 overall webcomicTop 30 rising series chart. It also ranked fourth in the women’s category and fifth in the live new series rankings.
