Let me start from the end: It was an evil cliff, obviously, the staff knew a lot and didn’t waste time confirming Season 2 will happen. I feel relieved, but to be honest, my heart is still running for election. This is not to say I am worried about what Tanaka’s intention is (although obviously, I definitely are). The truth is, Yoshiki and Hikaru finally suffocated a suffocating communication barrier throughout the season, and I’d love to know how their relationship developed beyond that. It’s a huge breakthrough – even if it might spell everything.
Most of this ending feels like a cathartic splash in the ocean, and you’ll still shudder despite that – the oppressive heat of summer can’t breathe. Before reaching a huge conclusion, though, I found myself getting emotional throughout the run. At first, Yoshiki and his father had only a few words, but this was a huge improvement in their hearts for each other last week. Although his relationship with the expanded relatives is still tense, he is too eager to escape Hikaru later, which shows that he does care about his immediate family. Despite their problems, Bugi Nakas has a path forward.
Hikaru also showed significant growth. He waited skillfully until the student body was busy with the semester function until he said a silent and ritual goodbye to the school. He promised not to bother or hurt anyone else. Of course, Asako was too perceived to get him away without talking to him, their brief conversation was the second most important scene of the week. Heartbreakingly, finally feeling sad about the original hikaru, it was really frustrating to watch Hikaru conclude that if he never went down the mountain, everyone would be better. It is functionally a concept of suicide. It encounters great difficulties when the same scene shows Hikaru’s tenderness and emotional wisdom in his short time in his village. Rather than attacking Asako instinctively as she had faced him for the first time, Hikaru followed his instinct to comfort her.
Still, Hikaru made up his mind, and he occupied Yoshiki on a date that generalized and reversed Yoshiki. Hikaru wants a set of glittering memories, and then he leaves the mountains. However, the adaptation does not make the audience forget the uneasiness of the boys having fun. The soundtrack is sparse and melancholy, using the live train footage adds a surreal layer to the Exodus on the hill. While I have no doubt that this is part of the time-saving action, the staff once again proved their ability to cut corners into smart and effective aesthetic accents. I will never look at raw chicken the same way because of this adaptation, and I think that’s all the evidence you need and they know what they’re doing.
This ocean visit has been foreshadowed not too long ago (in fact, this train trip has been ongoing in ED), and it was an incredible scenario. Also note that they have to physically remove themselves from the village to have such a conversation. This is hikaru died in summer Nudity: A far away from any external horror of Yoshiki, but facing the horror in it. From the audience’s seat, we can see that Yoshiki is just a confused queer teenager who longs for his desires but is trapped in his brain, Yoshiki thinks he is a real monster. It was bad enough when he brought a one-phase feeling to his best friend. Now, he finally accepted his body and has been forging Hikaru’s body since winter. Hikaru loves him back. That excited him. These are the truths he needs to reconcile before furthering, and unfortunately, it may be too late for Yoshiki to do so.
Speaking of feelings, I especially like the incredible way the anime portrays Yoshiki’s inner dialogue, which is a strange intersection Evangelical and Clutch cargo. I don’t know how you thought of it and Proclaim faith in following, but it is a sign of exemplary adaptation. As mass audiences increasingly demand the translation of comics to screens, loyal loyalty is more important than ever, the series values creative and dialogue approaches to its origins. This is my mandatory soapbox.
Correct understanding hikaru died in summerit is worth mentioning how complicated the meager emotional landscape is in a few seconds. Let’s start from the moment Hikaru points out that the inflatable sal is floating. Hikaru is copying Yoshiki’s usual MO, ignoring the elephant in the room. Hikaru knew he couldn’t stay with Yoshiki, but he couldn’t let himself cry when Yoshiki knelt in front of him. He is too soft. Yoshiki responded by telling him that he had forgotten Salamander, confirming that he was willing to give up his family for hikaru’s sake. However, before he did so, Yoshiki looked up at Hikaru, without staring at him. Yoshiki, with his vision blocking his bangs, chose not to look at what was in front of him again, and he closed his eyes completely. It was a devastating punctuation mark when we saw them back to the beach, away from each other. Thankfully, this is not a period. Their story continues.
although hikaru died in summer One of the best series for summer is an easy choice (and I’m not alone), I don’t think this is perfect. This mystery can be better integrated into the rest of the plot, and some of the panics return to familiar territory when they should be shocking. In the end, however, the aspect that I care most about is the connection between Yoshiki and Hikaru. As a compelling metaphor and literal homosexual relationship, their twisted bonds have kept me investing week after week. I’m so glad that the anime recognizes the importance of the end of the season by focusing on this season, and I can’t wait to see if Yoshiki can really accept and share Hikaru’s monsters. You know I’m cheering on these guys.
