Episode 23 – Kaiju No. 8 Season 2

Episode 23 Kaiju No. 8 It was another major win this season, and even a higher watermark of the anime.

Frankly, I’m pretty sure this week and I don’t know if I have any real criticisms to share. So… guys, I thought of hundreds of words.

The threat from the tribe released by Kaiju 9 has finally come true. The opening part was more of the Mukmonster killing, which was something I had a bit of a mixed bag last week. I shared a lot of the same joy and attention in this section. Mina pops up giant monsters with large harsh migrations are very cool, there are no two ways to do it. The frame of the lens (SNARF) is very good, emphasizing the size and size of these lenses. Although monsters fall off easily, you will really understand these shots and their size and impact. I even appreciate the attention to the details of the background technical chats, involving wear on the barrel (an important issue for heavy artillery in the real world). The weakness of course is that it’s still just the generic bad guys being killed, and they all have the same design. Like I said last time, I want to see new primitive monsters fighting!

Well, the rest of the episode answered the phone. The Wehrmacht heavy hitters were all split and ended up facing one-on-one with the unique Kaiju. That’s what I hope for, and it’s not disappointing. Although we spent most of our time focusing on Shinomiya’s battle and Shinonome’s battle, it was a bit jumping. Shinomiya’s battle is a comprehensive superhero mode, which is great stuff. Large attacks and many collateral damage. The scale and bet are clear, and the former is paid more attention to. Shinonome’s battle is a bit simple in execution – mainly involving large burn types that she seems to be unharmed. But in her fight, the bet did increase to Eleven, and she put all of this online emotionally and physically. I have to hand it to the voice performance, especially Emi lo Better in English Dubbing. The monster she fights against may not be the funniest force, but it has a cool design and her determination is loud and clear.

It is also worth noting that this episode looks great. The battle is fast and powerful. Environmental damage and energy effects have established a great mood. This is the whole excellent packaging.
