7 teams will receive gift certificates and the opportunity to introduce their work at the Independent Games Fair

Smiling Gatt Future Lab, the education department of one of the largest Korean game developers, announced on September 24 that it has begun recruiting “Beaver Jam with Naver Webtoon” to recruit creators, a game development campaign where participants will create original games inspired by the popular Webtoon series. The event will be held from October 24 to 26 Smiling Gatt campus.
The program will select a total of 75 participants: 15 planners, 30 programmers and 30 graphic designers. Creators can apply through a future lab website by September 13.
Once selected, participants will select Webtoon Intellectual Attributes (IP) adapts to the game, forming a team of a planner, two programmers and two designers. The process consists of three rounds of discussion to finalize the team structure.
Unity South Korea, the official partner of the event, will provide expert mentors with hands-on guidance to share technical insights and provide hands-on guidance throughout the development process. On the last day, the team will present and demonstrate the competition they completed.
Seven of these teams will receive gift certificates and have the opportunity to introduce their work in Beaverrocks 2025’s “Game Jam Showcase”, which is an independent game exhibition. Smiling Gatt This December.
