The Villainess is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom Game Review – Game Review

In the past, anime series would be licensed, and we might read the possibility of source comics or lightweight novels without saying anything about visual novels. But now, we have reached the point where we have at least one English version. The villain is worshipped by the prince of the neighbor kingdom The weirdest approach has been taken to determine: instead of the original Light Novel or Comics, the original Animation Series is an adaptation of the visual novels of the first three LNs.

release steam and Nintendo Switch, the game follows the original material with high fidelity. The game is divided into three books and must be played in sequence, with three different plots, just like they imitated light novels. The first book covers Tiararose, discovers that she has been reborn in the Otome game and has passed the basics of a small Isekai (condemnation, dealing with the heroine). The second is her life as Prince Marinforest’s fiancé of the sequel Otome game hero, and once again has to figure out the way around the heroine That game. Finally, the third story closely links Tiararose to the fairy of Marinforest and the fact that the fairy of Water would rather Aquasteed marry someone else.

Each book has three variations, and it is important to note that it does not equal three endings. Tiararose is always accompanied by Aquasteed. There is no other real love interest, although it is obvious who the other romantic goals are in the fictional Tiararose gameplay. Instead, the color-coded variants each offer a different CG for your viewing pleasure, and a mild change in how the final game unfolds. This color coding makes it very easy to get all achievements and unlock reward stories (from the perspective of various love interests) because every time you click on one of the dialogue options, a pink, blue or yellow pattern pops up on the screen…and the same color can always be selected for the same choice; clicking the first will always turn pink, the second blue, etc. This is not a challenging game.

Therefore, charm is related to vision and sound. The art of this game is spectacular, colorful, seductive character design and every CG is clearly focused. The background may be quite basic, but there are many details on the elves’ clothes and hair, and each has several facial expressions. Even if this story doesn’t catch you, it’s worth playing every pseudo-repeater to collect all the pictures. The sound is equally excellent, with similar Hikaru Midorikawa,,,,, Mai Fuchigamiand judgeAmong other things, as well as early announcements, at least some of them will re-enable in the upcoming anime version. If you want to turn her voice on or off, you can control the sound of Tiararose by individually.

Apart from the pitiful gameplay, another major drawback is localization. Frankly, the translation is not very good. As can be seen from the three examples below, translation issues range from simple lack of articles to improper diversity to anything that happens in the third one. This is not what I’m talking about as an understanding barrier, but it’s definitely not the $39.99 game you want to see in professionally produced and released games.

We cannot blame translation as one of the most unintentionally interesting elements of the story, namely the name. As the upcoming anime shows, these are originals, and I suspect this is something light novelists try to sound overly fantasy, although they also likely know exactly how ridiculous it sounds, which is a more interesting idea. However, these names are really hard to take this seriously, and there must be some problems in the second and third books.

The villain is worshipped by the prince of the neighbor kingdom It’s the kind of game you buy. It’s beautiful, but the gameplay is too simple and the translation is fake. It really gives you a good idea of what the anime looks like (hopefully looking like), and if you want to be familiar with the original material before starting the series, this is the only option in English at the time of writing. It’s not scary, but it’s not worth the price.
