Japan Mint to Release Dragon Ball Commemorative Coin Sets – Interest

The Japanese Mint announced Thursday that bookings for the two Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Coin Sets will begin on Friday. The first set is the 70th Anniversary Coin Set, which includes six uncirculated coins (in the denomination of 1 to 500 yen) and a copper alloy commemorative medal, which includes Dragon Ball protagonist son Goku and Four-star Dragon Ball in a special case. The second set is the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball 2025 satellite coin set and comes with 6 2025 protective coins (also in denominations of 1 to 500 yen) and a sterling silver (92.5% sterling silver), which includes Goku and “Dragon Ball 40 Anniversary”.

The regular seventh anniversary coin set will cost ¥3,100 (about $21). The Japanese Mint can only produce 60,000 units and orders will start on September 5 and will last until September 25. The “Seven Heroes 2025 Anniversary Protection Coin Set” is 16,500 yen (about $111). The Japanese Mint produced only 25,000 units and started orders on September 5 and continued until September 25.
The two coin sets can be ordered online through the Japanese Mint website and are scheduled to ship in early December. However, Japanese mint is not shipped internationally.
