Episode 8 – With You and the Rain

Although we know a little about Fuji every week, nothing is as sympathetic as her as the lonely white camellia on the red flowers. Her simple statement about bloom sums up her identity and how she perceives herself. She thinks Different From everyone around her, but to some extent she is more lonely than she identifies with other things. She said she was like the white blossoms on the hedge of red flowers, she said she looked more or less like everyone else, but she felt she was not suitable.
Audiences can see this as Fuji and introvert. She’s not andComfortable around others, but she is at her best when she is with someone she knows (her high school friend) or does not make her requests, such as her little neighbor. Seeing how easy it is to interact with others may make her feel that she is right. Maybe that’s what made her take Kimi home in the first place: He said he was a dog and many people would like to see him, but he was a little different. He is a field farmer in the dog park, which is not unlike becoming a white camellia on the red camellia bushes. Fuji sees Kimi as a kind spirit.
It’s almost unusual between pets and people. There are certainly days when I feel my cats and dogs know me better than anyone else and as an introvert they are more comfortable at the end of the day. But for Fuji and Kimi, the episode solidified their relationship for the audience. Kimi is her safe space, and her people make her completely emotionally relaxed. This is an important part of the human and animal relationship, and for white camellia like Fuji, it has a greater significance in her social and emotional well-being.
Obviously, Kimi got something similar from her. The title of this week’s episode “Cry” refers to his first sound, rather than his little tweet and grunt. He complained like a sad puppy. It’s surprising because at this moment he’ll write “I’m lonely” or “I miss you” on his paper. Instead, the pain of his voice shows its depth. This also shows that he is completely satisfied with Fuji at this time. He felt embarrassed when she pointed out that she was complaining, which meant that he found the words childish or otherwise, which seemed to imply that he did it just because of his emotional power. He knew she would be late to go home, but it didn’t soothe his feelings, and he expressed it in the most natural way.
Even though it consists of the same short segment format as the rest of the series, Episode 8 brings everything together. Get some air from Fuji leaving her friends in her apartment while getting together (with two senses; she is awake and she is resetting her social self so that she can cope with people in her space) to establish a snow rabbit to explain the distance between Siberia and Japan and the distance between kii-chan, all with Fuji’s comfort in the world and kimi and kimi and ance and ance and ance and the kimi. She may be white camellia, but as the old woman said, there were other white buds in the leaves when she handed her flowers.
