It took a while, a lot of setup, but we finally got it with mynogh We’re going into the meat series: negotiation, business, compromise, politics – the word you want to describe mynogh itself interacts with other societies and leaves traces in its world. This is always the obvious place for this series to land. It took longer than expected. However, being late is better than not. Even so, that’s not to say it’s an exciting plot, which keeps me on the edge of the seat all the time. That’s OK – this is higher than most of the plots I’ve given mynogh– But the series still has a certain dryness, and even if the story is playing, it doesn’t seem to shake it. Hopefully it keeps the momentum of the past few weeks and overcomes it in time.
Anyway, I liked that Goto and Artu talked about the evil part, but enjoyed the peace, even if it barely lasted for five seconds, and they didn’t go as deep as I prefer. I know not everyone will agree with me, but I like that our protagonists aren’t necessarily good people (or at least the “good people” are “good people” and are all things that are morally gray areas in the series universe. I prefer it all when they embrace it and get messy – for example, your light Yagami-sque character. We haven’t seen this happen yet mynoghat least not much. There was a scene with Atou and the soldiers a few episodes ago, but that’s the case. However, because they have very little experience outside, we don’t have many opportunities to engage in this self-aware and indulgent villain type even if they want to. One of my biggest hopes for this series is that we see them further in their evil characters.
Although I’m talking about something I liked in this episode that I hope to give more attention, I like Tacoto’s point of view of how he doesn’t think much about the culture and personality of other societies in the game field, because the game itself has never really focused on that. Forced into the situation he is in, a new element he will have to consider. The anime has given Tacoto an excuse not to foresee what will happen (the horrible thing is, “teehee we are in the game unless we are not”, but it’s nonsense), but it’s glad there’s something else to mix together, which isn’t an obvious excuse.
In any case, the main success of the Kingdom mynogh In this episode, they successfully negotiated the Dragon Vein Mine. Even though we are at the end of the series, we don’t know if it’s thanks to the negotiation skills of Gotto and Artu, or if the otherwise harmless Pepe is three steps ahead of everyone else. Although neither Takuto nor Atou are new in the negotiation form mynogh so far.
Overall, I like the general direction mynogh It’s moving a lot more now than I like the first half of the series, which means I’ve always loved the past few episodes. Even if this isn’t hidden in a season full of big hits, mynoghStill not exactly the anime of the season’s competitor material. Still, we finally spin a corner and I think if the show continues to do so, it might fit in the potential it could be full of possible in the beginning.
