Episode 7 – Secrets of the Silent Witch

Ultimately, this episode is an exploration of the teen bully mentality. In their minds, Mrs. None and her accomplices couldn’t see that they were doing something wrong. They just have less to them. After all, Mrs. Norn didn’t even push Monica onto the stairs-she pushed the others, then ran into Monica and fell. Then the fact that she was accused by the prince’s right-hand man was both unfair and embarrassing. It was a coincidence, and it was not to say that a bastard daughter should stand aside with an Earl’s real-born child.

So Mrs. Norn and the company established the tea party to balance the scales. They either ask Monica to withdraw her position and humiliate Ashley to denounce their position, or let Monica make it difficult for him to embarrass himself, or be so rude, or not to drink tea or spit. It’s convincing that Monica might have drunk any of it never happened. Furthermore, they never considered that their drinks of eye fruit are effective in Belladona poison, they just thought the liquid was too bitter to drink.

On one level, Mrs. Norn and her friends are just immature children. They are trapped by the little drama to make sure they are victims and true righteous people that they can’t see the feeling of transcending injury. They can’t think along the way because they never have to learn this skill due to their strong family and shelter. So, at least one can understand how to get to this point. But even after learning that Monica is not in nearby Claudia, the places they are in trouble will double even after learning that Monica are.

Mrs. Norn insisted that all they did was a prank, and that was an excuse to avoid responsibility. Time and time again she had the opportunity to apologize and take responsibility for her actions, but she still insisted on her childhood delusions, intentions that were more important than actual results.

So Mrs. Norn is forced to take on real adult responsibilities, rather than childlike responsibilities that are addressed with an apology and a slap on her wrist. Objectively, Mrs. Norn attempts to murder the daughter of Count Norton, the military protector of the region, although Monica may have been an illegitimate child. The result of this terrible move is to break away from the friendly ties between Norton and Norn regions – Mrs. Norn’s territory has no defense against dragons and monsters until a force in the capital can be organized and dispatched. In other words, Mrs. Norn’s jealousy and inability to admit that the mistakes forced her family’s land into crisis – in addition to having enemies for her neighbors now, it could end with a little more loss of life. This is extreme companionship, and it is also a lesson that Mrs. None only learned too late.

As for Monica’s story. Her poisoning incident and its consequences have given us a new understanding of the source of her trauma and the source of her fanatical obsession with numbers. For Monica, the numbers (formula and theorem) that run endlessly in her mind are all the rest of her father. They prove not only his life, but his impact on the world. Even after being beaten and abused by her uncle, she still endured these numbers. For her, mathematics is love – her love for her father. No matter the pain she had to go through, it was that she could not – no – no.

All in all, this is a great episode The Secret of the Silent Witch. While it hardly makes a plot that promotes royal assassination, it uses its environment and characters to explore the actual way of thinking behind bullying, rather than simply calling and confronting the evil of the bully – all of which simultaneously exudes our main characters. As for the proper introduction of Claudia, her motivation and character, well, this is just the icing on the cake for this cake.
