Episode 7 – Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 2

As far as the knowledge that changes the world falls, it’s hard to be the most important thing in this episode is that Boxxo has been a unique presence. There is no one, like a guild master like director Bear or a talented magic scientist like Hulemy, who has heard of people like him. But with this episode and Kikoyu’s introduction, we learn that being reincarnated as inanimate objects may be more common than we once thought.
“Field” seems to be an agriculture Otaku Rebirth as the name implies – a realm. The field is able to do everything a field can do, namely planting all types of crops and having magical abilities that ultimately enable him to travel and even fight head-on with Lord Demon. Although the battle ended in a deadlock, it did allow Kikoyu to escape, and even now the realm she carries retains his power (although not his consciousness).
From a character and story point of view, Kikoyu is Lamis in the field. She found him, became friends with him, and became a way to communicate with the outside world. Furthermore, instead of using empathy to get the true meaning behind his fixed phrase, Kikoyu is related to Boxxo, but is able to simply touch him, and both communicate perfectly – Boxxo and Lamis are still unable to do with his newly discovered speaking abilities.
However, the similarities between Kikoyu and Ramis may be much greater than the depth of the surface. We see in this episode that Lamis will do anything with Boxxo again – no matter how reckless or dangerous. The most dangerous area in the tier? certainly. Shatter the literal structure of the dungeon and tear the holes of reality? why not? Falling from a height beyond fatality, only an untested invention to save her? no problem. For Lamis, being with BoxXo is far more important than any risk to yourself, and we have good reason to believe that Kikoyu is the same as the field.
Kikoyu’s pursuit will reunite with the field. However, there is a barrier to prevent this (seemingly created by the Demon Lord). So, after hearing that Netherlord was in the dungeon, she came to him and see if he knew the road through the obstacles. While Bear and Boxxo directors are most optimistic about her intentions (she plans to defeat the beast and let him speak), there will always be a second way to get this information. She could do what the fool Menagerie did and make a deal with Netherlord. For her needs, he betrayed the entire human race.
Given the similarities between Kikoyu and Lamis, this naturally raises the question: Will Lamis do the same for Boxxo? Will she sacrifice her innocent life for him? Will she betray her adventurer? Her friend? Helemy? That’s the last thing that I hope we consider – because in this world, it’s a question that separates heroes from villains.

Random thought:
•Will a fool’s man actually murder an innocent woman to save his loved ones? Currently, they seem reluctant to kill innocent people – they are just doing what they intend to do, except being around Netherlord. But as time constraints approach and pressures rise, who would say what they would do?
• As with her episode, I was surprised by the proper attitude towards Lamis. I wish she was in a state of madness, but she had at least spent enough time making a plan, even if it was a reckless one.
•Who will be fed for party, boxxo or kikoyu is cute. It is obvious that both think they are in the party and do not want to maintain weight.
• Poor director Bear. I know he can lift the Boxxo, but it has to be tortured all day, especially without a seat belt like Lamis.
