Korean streaming platform Tving announces live series adapt of Dear X Webtoon will premiere in November.
The live performance series was put on hold after actor Do-hoon Kim was seriously injured on the spot.
Dear X It is a melodramatic thriller that follows Ah-jin Baek (You-Jung Kim), a top star who builds success by stacking and trampling on scars from her childhood. Jun-Seo Yoon (Young-Dae Kim) is Ah-Jin’s lifelong protector, haven and fatal weakness.
Do-hoon Kim plays the role of Jae-oh Kim, and his purpose in life is changed with only one word Ah-Jin. After years of survival in the abuse of her father, Jae-Oh discovers meaning in Ah-Jin, shares her pain and is willing to be her shadow. His dangerous loyalty is in stark contrast to Jun-Seo’s dedication.
